DOYLESTOWN, PA — Veterinary software provider, Instinct Science, has announced its acquisition of VetMedux, an influential education and point-of-care information company. This strategic move marks a significant step for Instinct in its mission to equip veterinary practices with essential tools for superior patient care.

Instinct Science, known for its cloud-based practice management software, Instinct EMR, and workflow and e-prescribing systems, has been aiding veterinary hospitals in improving patient care, team efficiency, and revenue capture since its launch in 2017. Now, the company is set to enhance its offerings further through the addition of VetMedux’s Clinician’s Brief and Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs, both highly regarded resources within the industry.

Caleb Frankel, VMD, Founder and CEO of Instinct, stated, “With Instinct’s acquisition of the VetMedux brands, two mission-aligned companies become one. We are committed to keeping these essential resources widely available and growing them significantly in the years to come.”

Instinct has experienced significant growth since its inception, currently serving over 85,000 animal caretakers across four continents. The company’s cutting-edge technology powers many of the veterinary industry’s university teaching hospitals, training centers, and advanced care practices. With the acquisition of VetMedux, Instinct is poised to expand its reach even further.

Elizabeth Green, CEO of VetMedux, expressed her excitement about the merger. “This is a bold move to build world-class products that deliver life-saving guidance to veterinarians and caretakers,” she said.

VetMedux’s products, Plumb’s and Clinician’s Brief, reach over 260,000 veterinarians worldwide, providing vital information for case work-ups, treatment plans, and client education. The integration of these resources into Instinct’s platform will undoubtedly enhance the latter’s service offerings.
