ImageFIRST Opens National Vote for Healthcare Awards

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — ImageFIRST has opened nationwide voting for 20 healthcare workers selected as finalists in its sixth annual HeroesFIRST contest, with $16,500 in prizes to be awarded to the eight candidates receiving the most votes.

The King of Prussia-based healthcare laundry and linen services company selected the finalists from hundreds of nominations submitted by its employees and customer representatives across more than 80 markets.

Public voting began Sept. 30 and runs through Oct. 16. Each person may cast one vote at heroes.imagefirst.com.

The finalists are Kerstyn Boyd of Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic MRI in Florida; Mekila Clark of PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Washington; Jorge Contreras of New Me Plastic Surgery in Florida; Kimberly Copeland and Demetrea Holman of Henderson Surgery Center in Nevada; Meghan Dean of Bristol Hospital in Connecticut; and Nanci Garcia of Maternal Gynerations in Georgia.

Also selected were Mary Hall of The University of Kansas Health System’s Indian Creek Campus; Celeste Jenkins of TOC Spine & Joint Surgery Center in Florida; Krista Kackley of Midwest Radiology Suburban Imaging – The Breast Center in Minnesota; Kimberly Kinsella and DeAnna Phan of Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology; Ike Morgan of New Oakland Family Centers in Michigan; and Susan Perrotta of Dermatology Professionals, Inc. in Rhode Island.

The remaining finalists are Isabel Palileo-Rapanan of Pacific Medical Centers – First Hill in Washington; Laura Reese of Mid Coast Medical Center – Bellville in Texas; Dr. Gayathri Sambasivan of Dentistry for Children and Adolescents in Minnesota; Amy Serante of South Denver Gastroenterology in Colorado; Amanda Summers of Banner Surgery Center – Chandler in Arizona; Lisa Wille of Meta Surgical Center in New Jersey; and Jeff Williams of Hope Care Center in Missouri.

The contest recognizes healthcare professionals nominated for their impact on patients and the patient experience.

“While only 20 finalists were chosen, they represent the millions of healthcare professionals who show up each day with a commitment to caring for others,” ImageFIRST Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Mike Martin said.

After voting closes, the eight finalists with the highest vote totals will receive prizes totaling $16,500.
