During the closure, motorists heading from southbound I-95 to westbound I-76 will be directed to exit at Broad Street/Pattison Avenue (Exit 17) and continue north on Broad Street (Route 611) to access I-76 West or Packer Avenue.

A separate lane closure on southbound I-95 between Oregon Avenue and Front Street will remain in place during the same period. PennDOT warns that backups and delays will occur near the construction zone and along the detour route.

The restrictions are part of a $61.9 million federally funded project to repair deteriorating interstate bridges and ramps across the Philadelphia region. Work includes structural steel and concrete repairs, expansion joint replacements, and other bridge improvements. IEW Construction Group Inc. of Hamilton, New Jersey, is the general contractor.
