BENSALEM TWP, PA — Motorists traveling southbound on Interstate 95 in Bucks County should expect overnight delays next week as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) schedules lane closures for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements in Bensalem Township.

  • Roads Affected: I-95 South, between Bristol Pike/Street Road (Exit 37) and Woodhaven Road (Exit 35).
  • Dates: October 12–17, 2026.
  • Times: 8:00 PM–5:00 AM the following morning.
  • Reason: ITS equipment installation and upgrades.

A left lane closure will be in place during the scheduled work hours, potentially causing backups along the busy interstate. Drivers should allow extra travel time or consider alternate routes.
