I-95 Camera Repair Could Trigger Daytime Delays Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Drivers heading south on Interstate 95 through Northeast Philadelphia should prepare for daytime delays Tuesday as PennDOT closes a lane for traffic camera repairs.

A right lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Academy Road and Cottman Avenue interchanges while crews perform Intelligent Transportation Systems repairs.

PennDOT warned that backups and delays will occur through the work zone. Drivers should plan extra time or consider alternate routes during the six-hour restriction.
