PHILADELPHIA, PA — HHM Hotels is accelerating its North American growth push, adding two senior executives to its investment and business development ranks as it expands into major gateway cities from Boston to the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

The hotel owner and operator said Luke Callinan has joined the company as senior vice president of investments, while Alexandra Lalos Church has been appointed senior vice president of business development. The hires come as HHM Hotels continues to scale a portfolio that now spans luxury, lifestyle, urban, convention, and leisure properties.

Company leaders said the appointments are designed to support a surge in deal activity. HHM Hotels has completed more than 30 joint venture investments in recent years and has added more than a dozen third-party management agreements in just the past few months.

Shawn Tuli, managing partner and chief investment officer, said the additions reflect both momentum and ambition as the company sharpens its growth strategy. He said Callinan brings deep experience as a multi-segment investor, while Lalos Church contributes extensive market knowledge and long-standing industry relationships.

Callinan most recently served as principal and head of hotel investments at Kasa Living and previously spent more than a decade at The Chartres Lodging Group. HHM Hotels said his background across the full real estate life cycle in hospitality positions him to immediately advance the firm’s investment strategies and partnerships.

Lalos Church joins HHM Hotels after serving as managing director at Hodges Ward Elliott, where she focused on complex hospitality assets. Her experience includes resort investment sales, debt and equity placement, and loan transactions involving condo-hotels, golf properties, and luxury residential components.

Tuli said Callinan’s arrival strengthens the company’s ability to grow alongside new and existing financial partners, while Lalos Church is already applying her advisory background to identify opportunities with institutional owners and investors entering or expanding within hospitality.

HHM Hotels said the combined expertise of Callinan and Lalos Church, working alongside executive vice president and head of development Matt Jalazo, creates a well-balanced leadership group aligned with the company’s intentional expansion across North America’s most competitive hotel markets.
