Havertown Carpet Co. Scores Big in Eagles–Firstrust ‘Brotherly Shove’

Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Havertown Carpet Co., a family-owned flooring company based in Delaware County, has been named the latest winner of the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight, a joint initiative from Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles that promotes local businesses across Greater Philadelphia.

As the winner, Havertown Carpet Co. will receive up to $25,000 in promotional assets, including an in-stadium video board mention during a 2025 home game, digital billboards, paid social media, radio spots, and tickets to three home games in Firstrust’s Touchdown Terrace. The program drew more than 700 eligible entries from privately owned, for-profit firms with annual revenue between $1 million and $50 million.

“Firstrust is proud to champion local businesses and help them succeed in every quarter of the year,” said Tim Abell, CEO and President of Firstrust Bank. “Our mission is to cultivate prosperity for our customers, employees, and the communities we serve — and the Brotherly Shove Business Spotlight is one way we bring that mission to life. We’re proud to support Havertown Carpet Co., another family-owned business with deep local roots, as it continues to grow.”

Founded in 2015, Havertown Carpet Co. sells and installs residential and commercial flooring. The company has grown from a mobile shop-at-home model to two showrooms, in Havertown and Malvern, and has acquired three local flooring businesses, with plans for a fourth acquisition and a third showroom.

“I was in disbelief when I got the call. I never imagined our business would be selected,” said owner Shane Barry. “We’re grateful for this ‘Brotherly Shove’ from Firstrust Bank and the Philadelphia Eagles, and we’re looking forward to growing our brand awareness across the region. We want people to know that we don’t just serve Havertown residents and we don’t only sell carpets – we’re more than that.”

We proudly congratulate owner Shane Barry and his entire team on this well-deserved honor.”

The company’s community focus includes an annual Teacher Appreciation Event that donates rugs to local educators — more than 2,000 since 2021. Alongside the promotional package, the Eagles will contribute $5,000 to help expand the program.

Firstrust, the Official Bank of the Philadelphia Eagles, supports entrepreneurship programs in area high schools, offers Eagles-themed banking products, and — together with the Green Family Foundation — has pledged more than $1 million to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
