Hamilton Lane

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Hamilton Lane (Nasdaq: HLNE) recently received regulatory approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for its Hamilton Lane Credit Income Fund, a new private credit vehicle aimed at individual investors, the company announced.

The fund, structured as an interval fund under the Investment Company Act of 1940, is designed to provide access to a diversified portfolio of middle-market senior loans sourced through Hamilton Lane’s global network of managers.

Hamilton Lane said the fund will offer features including daily net asset value pricing, 1099 tax reporting, and quarterly repurchase opportunities intended to provide limited liquidity.

The fund is part of the firm’s Evergreen Platform and will be its 12th offering within that lineup, which serves financial advisors and manages approximately $16 billion in assets.

Hamilton Lane’s private credit platform totals about $94 billion and has more than 20 years of experience in direct lending, according to the company.

The firm said the fund will focus on income generation and risk management through investments in middle-market loans, with a strategy aimed at reducing volatility.

Nayef Perry, head of direct credit at Hamilton Lane, said the fund is intended to provide diversified exposure to private credit investments sourced through the firm’s multi-manager platform.

“Rather than index-style exposure, HLCIF offers curated access to a diversified private credit portfolio of middle market senior loans,” Perry said.

The fund is expected to be available for purchase in April 2026.

Hamilton Lane manages approximately $1.0 trillion in assets under management and supervision and operates globally with offices across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
