Grip Alert: Major Roadwork Ahead on U.S. 202!

Road work

WARRINGTON TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that high-friction resurfacing operations will commence next week on U.S. 202 in Warrington Township, Bucks County. This initiative forms part of a $4.9 million project designed to enhance road safety by increasing surface friction on several state highways across multiple counties.

From Monday, October 7, through Friday, November 22, motorists can expect alternating lane closures between Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and County Line Road, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These operations, involving flagging, are aimed at improving traction, particularly in wet and dry conditions, which will ultimately lead to safer travel.

Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan additional travel time when navigating the affected areas. For real-time traffic updates and to minimize travel disruptions, motorists are encouraged to visit the MyChesCo Traffic Center, offering continuous traffic alerts and updates.
