PHILADELPHIA, PA — Gopuff has partnered with prediction market platform Polymarket to launch a $1 million gold giveaway tied to the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration, using the promotion to drive customer engagement through July 19.
The companies announced that customers who spend at least $25 on Gopuff during the promotion period will be entered for a chance to win one of 250 gold bars. No purchase is required to enter, and participants may earn up to 20 entries under the sweepstakes rules.
The promotion will award approximately $1 million in gold across two prize tiers.
Ten winners will receive 250-gram gold bars valued at about $32,500 each, while 240 winners will receive 20-gram gold bars with an approximate value of $2,600 each.
The campaign marks a marketing collaboration between the Philadelphia-based instant commerce platform and Polymarket, which the companies describe as the world’s largest prediction market.
Tyler Stewart, Gopuff’s head of marketing, characterized the promotion as a way to commemorate the country’s semiquincentennial while engaging customers through a large-scale giveaway.
“The best partnerships make bold ideas even bolder, and together with Polymarket we’re celebrating America’s 250th by putting a million dollars in gold into the hands of our customers,” Stewart stated.
Josh Tucker, Polymarket’s head of growth, indicated the partnership extends the company’s brand beyond its online prediction markets.
“Teaming up with Gopuff lets us bring that same energy to millions of customers in a fun, tangible way,” Tucker stated.
