MEDIA, PA — Girls Spark, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young women, is set to host its 5th Anniversary Summit on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Penn State Brandywine in Media, PA. The event promises a day packed with inspiration, education, and empowerment, targeting girls aged 11 to 18, while offering new workshops for parents and guardians.
The Summit aims to equip attendees with tools to tackle challenges such as mental health struggles, financial literacy gaps, and social pressures. Interactive workshops, led by accomplished female leaders, will provide hands-on learning experiences. Topics include resolving conflict, managing anxiety, and gaining financial confidence. Activities like the signature “Confidence Over Conflict” and “Brave & Balanced” sessions are designed to help girls build resilience and self-assurance.
Coach Adrean Turner, MBA, MAM, PCC, a renowned speaker and author, will deliver the keynote address, POWER UP With the Cees of Success!. The presentation will inspire attendees to step beyond societal expectations and develop the qualities needed to remain mentally strong and achieve their goals.

New Parent Workshops
This year’s Summit will debut two workshops tailored specifically for parents and guardians. Topics will include communication strategies through a trauma-informed lens and navigating digital and competitive pressures faced by today’s youth.
Event Highlights
The Summit will feature a Vendor Village, showcasing local businesses committed to uplifting young women. Participants will receive a complimentary lunch, T-shirt, swag bag, and live entertainment to enhance the experience. Girls Spark will also provide free transportation from Delaware and Chester Counties, ensuring accessibility for families across the region.
The organization’s focus on community impact extends to a collection of menstrual products, benefiting The Spot Period of No More Secrets in Philadelphia, to combat period poverty and support girls in need.
