Families Seek Opportunity as CSFP Showcases School Choices at Annual Fair

Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) welcomed families from across the city on November 8 for its annual Partner School Fair, an event designed to connect parents with private school options and guide them through the application process for need-based scholarships.

Held at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, the fair brought together school administrators from CSFP’s extensive partner network, along with CSFP staff and Program Ambassadors. Families met one-on-one with school representatives, learned about academic programs, and received hands-on support navigating scholarship applications. The event also featured free food, raffles, and giveaways, including school supplies and CSFP-branded items.

CSFP President and CEO Keisha Jordan joined participating schools to help families access the information and resources needed to choose learning environments that best fit their children’s needs, regardless of income or neighborhood.

CSFP is the largest and most diverse K–8 scholarship program in Pennsylvania, offering financial support to students from under-resourced Philadelphia families. Since its founding in 2001, the organization has awarded scholarships to more than 30,000 students. For the 2024–25 school year, CSFP provided over 6,500 scholarships to students attending nearly 150 tuition-based schools across the region.
