PHILADELPHIA, PA — Fishtown’s favorite summer tradition is back. The Fishtown District is rolling out the 2025 season of Fishtown Taps, promising an extended schedule, a record number of locations, and exclusive discounts that are sure to draw crowds. Starting May 27, the popular weekly event will run every Tuesday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, bringing together nearly thirty of the neighborhood’s iconic bars, restaurants, and breweries with unbeatable deals on drinks, food, and more.
Now in its latest edition, Fishtown Taps boasts $5 beers, $6 wines, $7 cocktails, and specially-priced mocktails at venues renowned for their unique ambiance and local flair. Participating spots include hot names like Evil Genius Beer Company, Johnny Brenda’s, Lloyd Whiskey Bar, and LMNO, each offering signature discounts and snacks to elevate the happy hour experience.
“We have been hosting Fishtown Taps to draw more people to Fishtown and Kensington during the week and showcase our thriving food and drink scene,” said Marc Collazzo, Executive Director of the Fishtown District. “Last year, the program was so successful we extended it several times, and this year we decided to make it all summer long into the fall.”
This season, guests can expect an atmosphere buzzing with activity as an even greater number of establishments join the event. The expanded roster, which reads like a who’s who of Fishtown’s culinary and beverage scene, includes beloved venues like Barcade, Frankford Hall, and Stateside Vodka Bar. Each spot features exclusive offerings such as themed mocktails, rotating draft beers, or delicious small bites.
The return of Fishtown Taps also shines a spotlight on community collaboration. The FYND app, a local discovery platform, is once again joining forces with the Fishtown District to promote the event. Through the app, attendees can access up-to-date listings of participating locations and weekly specials, making it easier than ever to plan their happy hour route.
“We’re thrilled to bring Fishtown Taps back this year and once again see the neighborhood buzzing with activity,” Collazzo added. “This initiative doesn’t just benefit the participating bars and restaurants—it supports our entire community, from retail shops to local services.”
Fishtown Taps isn’t just about drinks and discounts. It’s an event designed to highlight the vitality and versatility of this bustling neighborhood while offering an opportunity for both locals and visitors to explore its rich food and drink culture.
