- Dates: Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29

- Reason: Movement of construction equipment for bridge replacement project
PennDOT said a lane closure will remain in place on northbound Route 420 during daytime hours while crews move equipment connected to an ongoing bridge replacement project over Darby Creek.
The work is part of a $36 million effort to replace the two structures carrying Route 420 over Darby Creek in Prospect Park Borough and Tinicum Township.
Motorists should expect backups and slower travel approaching the work zone, especially during midday traffic periods. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, remain alert near construction activity, and seek alternate routes when possible.
PennDOT noted that all scheduled operations are weather dependent and could be adjusted if conditions change.
