SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Environmental Tectonics Corporation (OTCID: ETCC) secured three contracts totaling $11.7 million across its aircrew training and sterilization businesses, adding work tied to the U.S. Navy.
Two of the contracts were awarded to the company’s Aircrew Training Systems unit. One covers an upgrade to the U.S. Navy’s Spatial Disorientation research device, while the other calls for delivery of a hypobaric chamber to an international customer.
Environmental Tectonics did not identify the international customer.
The company’s Sterilization Systems unit received the third contract from a global medical-device manufacturer for the fabrication and installation of a large-capacity vacuum drying chamber.
The three awards extend Environmental Tectonics’ order activity across both its aeromedical and sterilization operations, businesses that serve government, healthcare and industrial customers.
“These contracts represent the continuing strong relationship ETC has with its global aeromedical and sterilizer systems customers,” Chief Executive Officer and President Robert Laurent Jr. said.
Environmental Tectonics designs and manufactures systems used to simulate and monitor physiological and environmental conditions. Its product lines include aircrew training systems, disaster-management systems, steam and gas sterilizers, and environmental testing and simulation equipment.
The Southampton-based company did not disclose the individual value of each contract or provide delivery schedules for the three awards.
