MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — Drivers in Bucks County should prepare for recurring daytime delays as PennDOT schedules lane closures on Ellis Road for trail and sidewalk construction throughout April.
At a Glance:
- Roads Affected: Ellis Road
- Dates: Wednesday, April 1, through Thursday, April 30
- Times: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (weekdays)
- Reason: Sidewalk installation and paving
PennDOT said periodic lane closures with flagging will be in place between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road during daytime hours. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane at times, with flaggers directing vehicles through the work zone.
No detour is planned, but motorists should expect intermittent stoppages and slow-moving traffic along the corridor. Plan extra time or seek alternate routes, especially during midday travel.
All work is weather dependent.
