COLMAR, PA — Dorman Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: DORM) announced a sweeping set of executive leadership changes aimed at accelerating growth, sharpening operational execution, and positioning the automotive aftermarket supplier for its next chapter.
“The leadership changes announced today position Dorman for an exciting new chapter,” said Kevin Olsen, president and chief executive officer of Dorman Products. “Our senior leaders have the experience and expertise to drive innovation, further advance our commercial and operational excellence initiatives, and unlock new opportunities to deliver long-term growth.”
As part of the transition, Charles W. Rayfield has joined Dorman as senior vice president, chief financial officer designate, and treasurer. He will formally assume the CFO role on the first business day following the company’s filing of its fiscal 2025 Form 10-K, succeeding David M. Hession, whose planned retirement was announced in June 2025.
Rayfield most recently served as chief financial officer of Lutron Electronics Corporation and previously held the CFO role at Knoll Inc., a publicly traded design and manufacturing company. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance roles at The Providence Service Corporation and BioTelemetry, as well as positions at Ernst & Young, PwC, and Arthur Andersen.
Dorman also named Nathan J. Porter as senior vice president and chief operations officer, overseeing operations across the company’s Light Duty and Heavy Duty segments. Porter will be responsible for distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and sourcing. He joins Dorman from ADI Global Distribution, a Resideo business, where he served as senior vice president and chief operating officer. His prior experience includes leadership roles at Snap One, Collins Aerospace, and General Motors.
In a key internal promotion, Eric B. Luftig was elevated to president of Dorman’s Light Duty segment. Luftig joined the company in 2021 and most recently served as senior vice president of product, engineering, quality, and manufacturing for the Light Duty business. In his new role, he will lead sales, marketing, and product development. Luftig brings three decades of global leadership experience, including senior roles at Victaulic, Nordson Corporation, and General Electric.
Steven A. Bashir has joined Dorman as president of the Heavy Duty segment, succeeding John R. McKnight, who is retiring as part of a planned transition. Bashir previously served as head of U.S. and Canada sales and head of commercial vehicle aftermarket for the Americas at ZF Services. His background also includes senior roles at Tenneco, Brose North America, and Mahle Aftermarket.
Dorman said the leadership realignment is designed to strengthen execution across its core automotive segments while supporting innovation and long-term value creation as the company navigates a changing aftermarket landscape.
