PHILADELPHIA, PA — In a reaffirmation of their influence and impact, Judith “Judee” M. von Seldeneck, Founder and Chair, and Aileen K. Alexander, CEO of Diversified Search Group (DSG), have been named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Power 100 list for the second year in a row.

The annual Power 100 list, compiled by the publication’s editorial team, highlights influential leaders across industries such as healthcare, economic development, real estate, and higher education throughout Greater Philadelphia. The spotlight on von Seldeneck and Alexander underscores their success in advising clients, identifying and recruiting industry leaders, and spearheading DSG’s significant growth and national expansion in recent years.

Von Seldeneck, who founded DSG in 1974, has overseen five strategic acquisitions and unprecedented growth, cementing the firm’s place as a top 10 executive search firm and notably, the only one helmed by a female CEO. Von Seldeneck’s accolades include the 2022 Forbes 50 Over 50 Entrepreneurs list and the William Penn Award, Philadelphia’s highest civic honor. She also established the JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women, which has awarded $2 million in grants to local woman-owned businesses.

As CEO, Alexander has successfully led two of DSG’s most recent acquisitions, Alta Associates and Yardstick Management, expanding the firm’s consulting and convening capabilities. A former U.S. Army Captain, Alexander serves on several boards, including the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s CEO Council of Growth and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Philadelphia.

Both leaders expressed gratitude for the recognition. “Our success is rooted within the Philadelphia region, where our journey began,” von Seldeneck said. Alexander added, “For five decades, our trailblazing Founder and distinguished team of experts have been at the forefront of the executive search industry in Philadelphia and globally.”
