Delaware Woman Escapes Kidnapping Attempt

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public regarding an aggravated menacing incident.

Authorities stated that on March 28 at approximately 5:40 a.m., a female was in the area of Delaware Avenue and Grant Avenue when a male suspect operating a blue Dodge Charger made verbal contact with her and asked her for directions. During the encounter, the suspect displayed a firearm and told her to get into the vehicle. The victim immediately fled the area and was uninjured.
