PHILADELPHIA, PA — Datavault AI Inc. (Nasdaq: DVLT) is advancing debit card and payment wallet capabilities for its planned NIL Vault platform while appointing Ronald M. Goldstein to lead professional sports and legacy athlete licensing.
The financial tools are being developed through Datavault AI’s embedded banking and payments arrangement with Fiserv Inc. They are intended to let participating athletes receive, manage and access revenue generated through sponsorship and licensing agreements.
Fiserv disclosed July 21 that it would provide embedded financial services and payments infrastructure for the planned NIL exchange, including payment wallets and associated debit cards.
Goldstein will oversee professional sports licensing and the development of officially licensed programs on NIL Vault. Datavault AI indicated he has already begun licensing assets tied to initiatives involving Josh Gibson, Roberto Clemente and Yogi Berra.
The appointment places Goldstein in charge of one of the platform’s principal commercial functions as Datavault AI prepares to expand NIL Vault beyond active athletes to include historic sports figures and legacy intellectual property.
Goldstein brings more than 35 years of experience in legal, regulatory, licensing and commercial matters. His background includes athlete representation, sponsorships, endorsements, intellectual property protection and strategic partnerships in sports and entertainment.

Datavault AI did not provide a commercial launch date for the debit cards or disclose financial terms connected to Goldstein’s appointment.
The company is developing NIL Vault as an exchange intended to track, license and monetize name, image and likeness assets while attributing revenue to participating rights holders.
