CSX Rail Work to Close Four Roads in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — CSX will close four state highways for rail track maintenance across Montgomery County beginning Sunday, October 19.

From October 19–25, Route 73 (Skippack Pike) will close between North Wales Road and Mara Drive in North Wales Borough. From October 20 to October 23, Main Street will close between First and Second avenues in Royersford Borough. Township Line Road in Norristown will close from October 26 to November 1, followed by Germantown Pike from November 2 to November 8. Each closure will be in place 24/7 with posted detours and local access maintained.

Motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
