PHILADELPHIA, PA — A crossing guard was allegedly attacked while on duty at 2800 Cecil B. Moore Avenue in Philadelphia. The Central Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department is now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the perpetrators.
The alleged assault took place at around 3:40 p.m. on November 30, 2023. According to police reports, the victim, a 29-year-old woman, found herself embroiled in an argument with three unknown women. The altercation escalated when these individuals allegedly knocked the victim to the ground, then purportedly began punching and stomping her repeatedly.
Due to the alleged assault, the crossing guard sustained swelling to her nose, left hand, right leg, and bruising to her face and head. She was subsequently transported by Medic to Temple Hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the individuals in the released photo or has any information related to this alleged crime to come forward. They caution the public not to approach the suspects, but instead to contact 911 immediately.
