PHILADELPHIA, PA — Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is adding a zesty twist to summer with the launch of its new Limeade Frozen Lemonade Ice Blender. This refreshing addition to the Frozen Lemonade Ice Blenders lineup joins the Classic Lemon and Strawberry flavors, giving guests another fruity way to cool off during the warmer months. Available for a limited time, the Limeade Frozen Lemonade offers a citrus-forward flavor designed to beat the heat in style.

Alongside the product launch, Rita’s continues its commitment to supporting families impacted by childhood cancer through its longtime partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). From May 19 to June 29, Rita’s will donate $1 from every Frozen Lemonade Ice Blender sold to ALSF, with a fundraising goal of $10,000. These funds will help cover travel expenses for families battling childhood cancer, a necessary support in easing the financial burdens associated with treatment.

Rita’s partnership with ALSF, which began in 2006, has raised over $5.8 million to date through in-store campaigns and community donations. Guests can further extend their support by contributing $1 in-shop, earning a spot on Rita’s Wall of Hope, a dedicated display symbolizing a collective effort to end childhood cancer.

Carmela Hughley, Senior Vice President of Marketing Insights and Innovation at Rita’s, celebrated the launch while reinforcing the company’s commitment to the cause. “Our Frozen Lemonades are a go-to for guests looking to beat the heat, and this year’s new Limeade flavor adds a bright, citrusy twist,” she said. “We’re also honored to continue our partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to support kids and families affected by childhood cancer. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts and the communities we serve.”

Liz Scott, Co-Executive Director at ALSF and mother of its late founder, Alex, expressed gratitude for Rita’s ongoing support. “We are delighted that Rita’s chose to partner with us again this lemonade season!
