PHILADELPHIA, PA — Comcast Business retained the top spot in the U.S. managed SD-WAN market for a second consecutive year and secured a series of analyst recognitions as enterprises increasingly seek providers that can combine networking, cybersecurity and AI-driven operations.
The company ranked No. 1 in U.S. Carrier Managed SD-WAN Services by billable customer site share, according to Vertical Systems Group, while also earning leadership designations from Gartner, Information Services Group and Forrester across managed networking and secure access service edge (SASE) offerings.
The recognition comes as companies redesign networks to support artificial intelligence workloads and increasingly favor integrated platforms that combine connectivity, security and automation.
“The question enterprises are asking has changed,” Bob Victor, chief product officer at Comcast Business, said in a statement. “It’s no longer ‘who can connect my sites’—it’s ‘who can run an intelligent, secure network for me as AI transforms how we operate.'”
The U.S. SD-WAN market expanded by 15% in new site installations during 2025, driven by companies migrating away from traditional MPLS networks and integrating SASE capabilities, according to Vertical Systems Group.
Comcast Business also maintained its No. 5 position in the U.S. Carrier Ethernet Services market, underscoring the company’s broader connectivity footprint.
In analyst evaluations, Information Services Group named Comcast Business a leader in managed SD-WAN services for the fifth consecutive year and a leader in SASE for the second straight year. The company was also recognized as a leader across all three categories in ISG’s 2025 U.S. Enterprise Managed Network Services report.
Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant reports classified Comcast Business as a Challenger in managed network services and a Niche Player in global WAN services.
Separately, Atlantic-ACM named Comcast Business the top large service provider in service delivery, customer service and data value based on feedback from more than 1,000 business-services buyers.
The awards highlight the intensifying competition among network providers to position themselves as strategic partners for enterprises investing in AI-enabled operations and increasingly complex cybersecurity requirements.
