LANCASTER, PA — Chicco USA has introduced the Fit3x ClearTex All-in-One Car Seat, a compact model designed to fit three seats across in a vehicle while accommodating children from infancy through booster age, the company announced.
The car seat, measuring 16.7 inches wide, is intended to maximize back seat space while maintaining safety and usability, according to the company.
The Fit3x supports children from 5 to 100 pounds and transitions from rear-facing to forward-facing to booster configurations, eliminating the need for multiple seats.
Chicco said the product meets or exceeds federal safety standards, including updated National Highway Traffic Safety Administration frontal and side impact guidelines set to take effect in December 2026, and is certified for aircraft use.
The model also includes installation features such as steel-reinforced belt lock-offs and LATCH connectors, along with adjustable headrest and recline positions.
“Parents have enough to juggle, and choosing between safety, ease of use and space shouldn’t be a concern when purchasing a car seat,” said William Hasse, vice president of marketing for Chicco USA.
The seat uses flame-retardant-free materials and is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions, according to the company.
Chicco said the Fit3x is priced at $229.99 and is available at Target stores nationwide and online.
The company also announced a new all-black version of its Bravo Trio Travel System, priced at $449.99, which includes a stroller and infant car seat.
