Chef-Driven Fried Chicken Brand Expands to Main Line With Bryn Mawr Debut

Love & Honey Fried Chicken

BRYN MAWR, PALove & Honey Fried Chicken recently opened a new location in Bryn Mawr, extending the Philadelphia-born fast-casual brand’s reach onto the Main Line as demand grows for chef-driven comfort food concepts.

The premium fried chicken restaurant said it plans to mark the opening with a community-focused grand opening event in January, inviting local residents to sample its full menu. Offerings include hand-dredged, buttermilk-fried chicken, house-made sides, and the brand’s signature banana pudding.

Founded in 2017 by classically trained chefs Laura and Todd Lyons, Love & Honey has built a following in Philadelphia by emphasizing fresh preparation, scratch-made sauces, and a tightly curated menu. The company positions itself in the fast-casual segment but leans heavily on culinary credentials and consistency as differentiators in a crowded market.

Sharon Purser, franchise owner of the Bryn Mawr location, said the brand’s focus on hospitality and food quality aligns well with the community. She said the team is eager to introduce the concept to new customers while maintaining the standards that have defined the brand since its launch.

The Bryn Mawr restaurant offers both pickup and delivery, reflecting continued consumer demand for convenience alongside dine-in options. The opening marks Love & Honey’s latest step in expanding beyond its Philadelphia roots while keeping its chef-driven identity intact.
