CertaPro Painters Recognizes Top Franchisees and Teams in Annual Awards

AUDUBON, PA — CertaPro Painters®, a renowned name in the commercial and residential painting industry, has announced the winners of its annual awards. The awards celebrate franchisees who have demonstrated remarkable growth, exceptional customer service, and adherence to the company’s values.

This year’s most prestigious accolade, the CertaCup, was awarded to Jennifer and Nathan Marmor, owners of CertaPro Painters® of Phoenix. Selected from over 450 CertaPro Painters® businesses across North America, the Marmors have set a new standard for excellence in both residential and commercial painting.

The Marmors have shown consistent growth since starting their franchise, backed by continuous investment in their team. Their approach to recruitment, creation of opportunities for others, and active involvement in community initiatives have cemented their reputation as a top workplace.

The Residential Painting Team of the Year award went to Juan Quijada and his team at CertaPro Painters® of Columbus Residential. Their unwavering commitment to the company’s core values, coupled with excellent customer service, led to over 100 jobs completed in 2023. Owner Dan Goodman praised Juan’s leadership and dedication to training his painters, making him a crucial part of the organization’s success.

In the commercial painting category, Jose Cruz and his crew from CertaPro Painters® of Greensboro were honored as the Commercial Painting Team of the Year. Having been with the franchise since its inception in 2003, Jose has completed more commercial projects than any other crew and has brought in new painting crews to assist with residential projects.

The annual awards ceremony, held on January 26 in New Orleans, also recognized CertaCup finalists from various franchises across the country. These included Alan Phillips of Northeast Wisconsin, Jay Bowers of Northern Arizona, Earl Gelineau of Southern Rhode Island, and Sean Collins of Fayetteville.
