CenTrak Unveils New Healthcare Location-Tracking Technologies at HIMSS 2026

NEWTOWN, PA — CenTrak introduced a new generation of real-time location system products at the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition held March 9–12 in Las Vegas, the company announced.

The healthcare technology company demonstrated updates to its ConnectRT platform designed to help hospitals use location data to monitor equipment, support staff safety and track patients.

Attendees saw demonstrations of Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled workflows that simulate clinical situations, including activating a mobile duress alert and tracking the movement of medical equipment.

“With CenTrak’s latest innovations, such as mobile applications for staff and low-cost, disposable tags for assets, patients, and visitors, healthcare organizations can expand the utility of their RTLS investments while leveraging AI-enhanced reporting to maximize ongoing value and return on adoption,” Chief Commercial Officer Crystal Ryan said.

Among the new products presented was the DuressRT Mobile App, which allows staff to send discreet emergency alerts from a smartphone.

CenTrak also introduced the CenTrak Safety Bracelet, a wearable device designed to monitor patients considered at risk of wandering in behavioral health and senior care environments.

The company also demonstrated AI-Enhanced AssetsRT, a tool that analyzes equipment data to identify usage patterns and help hospitals manage equipment inventories.

Another product highlighted was a disposable Bluetooth sticker tag designed to track devices, patients or visitors.

CenTrak said the platform integrates with hospital systems such as electronic medical records, nurse call systems and maintenance software.
