CampusESP Expands Slate Integration to Track Enrollment

CampusESP

PHILADELPHIA, PA — CampusESP has expanded its integration with Technolutions’ Slate admissions platform, allowing colleges and universities to analyze family engagement alongside student application data as institutions seek to improve recruitment efficiency and enrollment forecasting.

The Philadelphia-based education technology company introduced CampusESP Slate Suitcase+, an updated integration that incorporates family engagement metrics and enrollment conversion reporting directly into Slate.

The expansion allows admissions departments to evaluate how parental involvement corresponds with student progression from initial inquiry through enrollment, potentially helping institutions direct recruitment resources toward applicants requiring additional attention.

The integration adds three capabilities: enrollment funnel reporting, conversion analysis based on family engagement and a dedicated family engagement section within individual student records.

The Funnel Snapshot feature displays the number of CampusESP families associated with each stage of the admissions process, along with average Parent Promoter Scores, a proprietary measure of family engagement.

A separate Funnel Conversion feature allows institutions to examine relationships between family engagement levels and student advancement through the application and enrollment process.

The third addition places family engagement information directly within Slate student records, including family relationships, account status, recent activity and engagement scores.

Admissions personnel can use those records to identify families showing strong interest or those that may benefit from additional communication.

The expanded functionality builds on an existing two-way integration that transfers student information from Slate into CampusESP for personalized family communications and returns engagement data to Slate.

The integration currently synchronizes 28 data fields, including Parent Promoter Score, with the ability to accommodate additional fields.

CampusESP said its customer data indicate that parents in the highest quartile of engagement are associated with students who are three times more likely to enroll.

That relationship provides a basis for using family engagement as an additional indicator in recruitment planning, although it does not establish that parental participation independently causes higher enrollment rates.

“Families are constantly telling you something through their engagement,” said Dave Becker, CampusESP’s chief executive officer and co-founder. “Teams can see which families are engaged, where students are in the funnel, and use that information to influence recruitment and yield strategy.”

Enrollment yield, the percentage of admitted students who ultimately enroll, is a significant operational measure for colleges seeking to forecast incoming classes and allocate admissions resources.

CampusESP’s expanded integration is intended to give institutions a consolidated view of student application activity and family participation without requiring admissions staff to switch between separate systems.

The company is a Slate Preferred Partner, and more than half of its customers use both platforms.

CampusESP Slate Suitcase+ is available to institutions using CampusESP for Student Enrollment and Slate.
