Cabaletta Bio Grants 385,000 Stock Options to New Hires

Cabaletta Bio

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Cabaletta Bio Inc. (Nasdaq: CABA) has granted stock options covering 385,000 shares to four newly hired employees, using equity compensation to recruit personnel as the Philadelphia biotechnology company advances experimental cell therapies for autoimmune diseases.

The awards, issued under the company’s 2025 Inducement Plan, carry exercise prices ranging from $2.00 to $2.46 per share and vest over four years, according to Cabaletta.

The grants were approved under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4), which permits qualifying employment inducement awards outside shareholder-approved equity compensation plans.

Additional grants cover 100,000 shares at $2.00 per share, based on the September 28 closing price, and 85,000 shares at $2.00 per share, based on the October 2 closing price.

The combined exercise value of the options is $862,000. The awards give recipients the right to purchase shares at the specified prices but do not represent an immediate issuance of all 385,000 shares.
