BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Starting next week, motorists in Bucks County should brace for traffic disruptions. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that repairs will commence on Dark Hollow Road in Tinicum and Bedminster townships.

From Monday, August 5, through early October, Dark Hollow Road will be closed around the clock between Route 32 (River Road) and Route 413 (Durham Road). During this period, drivers will need to detour via Route 413, Point Pleasant Pike, and Route 32.

Local access will be maintained, ensuring residents can reach their homes. However, motorists should anticipate significant backups and delays. PennDOT advises allocating extra travel time when navigating the area. All planned repairs are subject to weather conditions.

The roadwork aims to improve the condition of Dark Hollow Road, which has been in need of repairs for some time. This effort underscores PennDOT’s commitment to maintaining safe and efficient roadways.

Drivers are encouraged to stay informed about the project’s progress and plan their routes accordingly to mitigate delays.
