BrightView Expands Sports, Golf Portfolio With Major Projects

BLUE BELL, PA — BrightView (NYSE: BV) said it is expanding its sports and golf operations, with projects supporting professional, collegiate and international venues, the company announced.

The commercial landscaping company said its work includes maintaining and developing playing surfaces for events such as Major League Baseball games, FIFA competitions and collegiate athletics programs.

BrightView serves as the Official Field Consultant for Major League Baseball and has supported more than 200 international games across 11 countries, including the World Baseball Classic.

Recent projects include designing a baseball field inside Bristol Motor Speedway for MLB’s Speedway Classic and converting the field at SoFi Stadium for the 2025 Club World Cup, with preparations underway for the 2026 World Cup.

The company also built soccer training pitches for San Diego FC, installed new athletic fields at the University of Southern California and renovated football practice fields at the University of Nebraska.

In its golf operations, BrightView added maintenance contracts with Country Club of Miami and Lake Arrowhead Country Club in California, restored Redlands Country Club in California and expanded its portfolio with The Villages.

The company said its golf division manages nearly 80 courses nationwide.

Murray Cook, president of BrightView’s sports division, said the company focuses on maintaining consistent playing conditions across venues.

“The athletes who compete on these fields are among the best in their sport, and they deserve conditions that are safe and consistent,” Cook said.

Terry McGuire, vice president of golf operations, said demand for maintenance services is tied to course quality expectations.

“Clubs choose BrightView because they expect quality and consistency for their members and guests,” McGuire said.

BrightView said its broader services include landscape design, maintenance, irrigation, tree care and snow management across commercial properties.
