PHILADELPHIA, PA — Bridgenext acquired Argentina-based enterprise AI software provider CloudX, increasing its engineering headcount by 25% and expanding its near-shore operations as the Philadelphia digital consultancy builds capacity for companies moving artificial intelligence projects into broader deployment.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Bridgenext identified CloudX’s agentic AI, data and product-engineering capabilities as central to the deal.
The acquisition significantly expands Bridgenext’s presence in Argentina, giving the company additional engineering capacity in a time zone that allows closer collaboration with North American clients. Buenos Aires-based CloudX specializes in developing and deploying enterprise AI software.
The transaction comes as businesses increasingly shift spending from experimental AI projects toward systems intended for production use across their operations. That transition has increased demand for engineering capabilities needed to integrate AI with existing data, software and business processes.
“It’s critical that we have deep expertise in AI, data and product engineering to provide the services our clients need now,” Bridgenext Chief Executive Officer John Castleman stated.
CloudX also adds experience in health care, a sector Bridgenext identified as a growing part of its business as companies increase spending on AI and data technologies.
Bridgenext plans to combine CloudX’s agentic AI and enterprise software capabilities with its existing consulting and delivery operations. The acquisition is intended to increase the company’s ability to build and deploy AI systems at enterprise scale rather than limit engagements to individual pilot projects.
CloudX co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Nahuel Vigna framed the transaction as a way to expand the company’s work through Bridgenext’s existing engineering organization and Latin American operations.
“We built CloudX with the intention of unlocking human potential with intelligent technology and believe that becoming part of Bridgenext will allow us to fulfill this purpose at a greater scale,” Vigna stated.
The companies did not disclose CloudX’s revenue, valuation, number of employees or other transaction metrics beyond the resulting 25% increase in Bridgenext’s engineering headcount.
