PHILADELPHIA, PA — PennDOT’s upcoming bridge inspections on Interstate 95 and 26th Street in Philadelphia are set to impact traffic flow in the region. On Monday, May 20, alternating lane closures will be in place on southbound I-95 at the Bartram Avenue/Essington Avenue Interchange, and a lane closure is scheduled on 26th Street between Penrose Avenue and the westbound I-76 Interchange.
Subsequently, on Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, motorists can expect alternating lane closures on southbound I-95 at the Enterprise Avenue/Island Avenue Interchange. As these inspection activities unfold, drivers are advised to factor in extra travel time due to potential slowdowns in these work areas.
