CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Boomi expanded OSI Digital’s role in its partner network by granting the technology services provider Managed Service Provider status and reselling rights, allowing OSI Digital to manage licensing, administration and operations for customers using Boomi-based Electronic Data Interchange services.
The expanded relationship gives OSI Digital responsibility for Boomi licensing, platform administration, upgrades, managed operations and ongoing optimization under a single service model. The company is offering the arrangement to enterprise and commercial customers.
Boomi also named OSI Digital its FY26 Global Solution Partner of the Year for its EDI work. The recognition was presented during Boomi’s Partner Summit in Chicago earlier this year.
OSI Digital has been a Boomi partner since 2017 and previously received the company’s North America Systems Integrator Partner of the Year award.
The MSP designation broadens OSI Digital’s ability to provide EDI-as-a-Service, covering licensing, trading-partner onboarding, mapping, 24-hour monitoring, exception management and compliance support.
“OSI Digital brings something distinctive to the Boomi ecosystem: deep EDI operational expertise paired with the discipline of a true managed service provider,” Dan McAllister, Boomi’s senior vice president of global alliances and channels, stated.
The service uses Boomi’s cloud-based integration platform to connect EDI operations with enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, warehouse management and other business applications.
OSI Digital also offers pre-built templates and reusable EDI maps for trading-partner onboarding, transaction monitoring and reporting, and AI capabilities intended to automate EDI map generation and integration development.
Hilal Khan, OSI Digital’s vice president of enterprise automation and orchestration, described the MSP status as an expansion of the company’s managed EDI operations, combining Boomi’s platform with OSI Digital’s service infrastructure.
The company is targeting manufacturers, logistics and transportation providers, retailers, health care and life sciences organizations, and financial services companies with the managed EDI offering. Use cases include purchase orders, shipping notices, invoicing, inventory management, shipment tracking, claims and remittance processing, and financial transaction reporting.
