Traffic alert, expect delays

NORTHAMPTON TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the continuation of roadwork on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton Township, Bucks County, as part of a local safety improvement initiative.

From Monday, June 2, through Monday, June 30, weekday lane closures will occur between Tanyard Road and Upper Holland Road for curb and sidewalk construction. Work hours will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, with flagging operations in place to manage traffic.

Motorists traveling through the area should anticipate delays and are advised to allow extra time for their commutes. PennDOT has emphasized that the construction schedule is weather-dependent, which could affect the project timeline.
