PHILADELPHIA, PA — Ardent Credit Union said high school seniors have until Tuesday, April 28, 2026, to apply for its annual scholarship contest, which will award $15,000 to five students.
The company said the contest will provide one $5,000 grand prize and four $2,500 scholarships.
Applicants must submit a short video highlighting academic achievements and community involvement instead of a traditional essay.
The contest is open to Ardent members with a minimum 3.0 GPA who have been accepted into a full-time program at an accredited college, university, or trade school for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Submissions must include a video between 30 seconds and two minutes in length and meet content guidelines, the credit union said.
Ardent said winners will be selected by a scholarship committee and announced by the end of May.
Since launching the program 16 years ago, the Philadelphia-based credit union has awarded more than $159,000 in scholarships, according to the company.
