Alleged Shoplifters Caught on Camera at South Street Store

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance footage showing two unknown males who are alleged to have shoplifted from the Snipes store located at 417 South Street. The incident occurred on December 31, 2023, at approximately 6:00 PM.

According to the police report, once inside the store, the suspects selected several items from the display racks and then exited the premises without making any payment.

Authorities have advised the public not to approach the suspects if they are seen, but to immediately contact 911.

Anyone with information about this alleged crime or the suspects is urged to submit a tip by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texting a tip to the same number. The department assures that all tips will be kept confidential.
