HARRISBURG, PA — Attorney General Michelle Henry announced the recent arrest of a Venango County man on charges of child sexual abuse, possession and manufacturing of child pornography.

William Lee Show, 52, was arraigned on Thursday on 34 felony charges and is currently being held without bail at Venango County Prison. The Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section discovered that Show had been downloading and viewing child pornography. Further investigations led to the discovery of additional images at Show’s Seneca home, some of which reportedly depicted Show sexually assaulting young children.

Attorney General Henry expressed her commitment to justice, stating, “The work of the investigative team uncovered a pattern of truly heinous conduct.” She emphasized her duty to protect Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable citizens and assured that justice would be pursued for the innocent children who have been harmed.

In total, Show faces 29 counts of possessing and manufacturing child pornography, two counts of indecent assault of a person under 13, two counts of corruption of minors, and criminal use of a communication facility. All charges are felonies.

The judge who arraigned Show denied bail citing a “safety risk to children.” A preliminary hearing has been set for February 14.

The public is urged to come forward with any additional information about Show and his possible involvement in other offenses. They can contact the Attorney General’s Child Predator Section at 1-800-385-1044 or report child abuse to the Pennsylvania ChildLine at 1-800-932-0313.

As we continue to follow this case, it’s important to remember that all charges are mere accusations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
