HARRISBURG, PA — A US court has sentenced eight members of the notorious Harrisburg gang ‘Never Forget Loyalty’ (NFL) to prison terms totaling over 60 years. The audacious group, who brazenly flaunted their illicit activities in YouTube videos, were brought down following a year-long investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), Harrisburg Police and Pennsylvania State Police.

The group’s ringleader, Anderson Ortiz, 24, was handed a prison term of 129 months by U.S. District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner. Ortiz had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic drugs and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. His sentencing marks the latest in a string of punishments meted out to NFL members.

The YouTube videos posted by the NFL served as a shocking insight into the group’s operations. The footage showcased various Harrisburg locations, including the drug-involved premises at 1621 Market Street. Members were seen brandishing an array of weapons, flashing cash, and displaying drugs. It was this brazen display that led to their downfall. During a series of searches, law enforcement officers recovered part of the NFL’s arsenal, including a machine gun, assault rifles, and various weapons with extended magazines.

Alongside Ortiz, six other members of the NFL have received their sentences. These include Kaleaf Brown, 28, sentenced to 140 months in prison; Qushawn Brown, 32, sentenced to 137 months; Tyquann Langston, 28, and Adieas Johnson, 35, both sentenced to 120 months; Donza Brown, 60, and Jaionne Miller, 23, each sentenced to 37 months.

The last remaining member of the group, Wesley Garner, has entered a guilty plea to weapons and drug trafficking offenses and is awaiting his sentence.

United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam praised the successful operation, highlighting the combined efforts of local and national law enforcement agencies. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Consiglio.

As the dust settles on this high-profile case, the message from law enforcement is clear: those who choose to engage in such criminal activities will be held accountable, no matter how audacious they may be. It’s a significant blow to drug trafficking in Harrisburg and a stark reminder that crime doesn’t pay.
