HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday has established tuition discount partnerships with nine colleges and universities, expanding educational benefits for Office of Attorney General employees and certain family members as part of an effort to strengthen recruitment, retention, and professional development.
The agreements provide reduced tuition at participating institutions, although eligibility for family members varies by school.
The participating institutions are Central Penn College, Elizabethtown College, Lackawanna College, Lebanon Valley College, Penn State Harrisburg, Russell Sage College, Shippensburg University, the University of Pennsylvania and York College of Pennsylvania.
The partnerships extend the office’s employee benefits beyond compensation by offering access to higher education at reduced cost.
“Investing in our employees means investing in the future of public service,” Sunday said. “These partnerships make higher education more accessible and affordable for the dedicated professionals who serve the people of Pennsylvania every day, while also creating opportunities for their families to pursue their educational goals.”
The agreements are intended to support employees seeking additional education and professional qualifications while providing an incentive for workers to remain with the agency.
The Office of Attorney General indicated that it will continue pursuing agreements with educational institutions as part of its workforce development and employee retention efforts.
