HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is seeking public feedback on its winter roadway services through an online survey available through April 14, the agency announced.

PennDOT said the statewide survey asks residents to evaluate snow removal operations, roadway conditions and communication efforts during the winter season.

The 17-question survey includes topics such as expected timelines for clearing roads, priorities for snow removal and overall satisfaction with winter services.

Respondents are also asked how they access roadway information and whether they use the state’s 511PA traveler information system, which provides traffic updates, incident reports, plow-truck locations and winter road conditions.

“The public’s input through this annual survey helps us review perceptions and knowledge of our operations,” PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll said.

PennDOT said the survey takes about five minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.

The survey is available at https://qualtrics.pa.gov/jfe/form/SV_d6enJ54tQSo4gxU.

The agency said the feedback will be used to assess winter operations and identify opportunities to improve public communication and services.
