WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an updated advisory regarding illnesses linked to Diamond Shruumz-brand chocolate bars, cones, and gummies. As of July 22, 2024, the number of reported cases has increased to 74 across 28 states.

The majority of the affected individuals—62 out of 74—sought medical care. Of these, 38 were hospitalized. The FDA is also investigating two potential deaths that may be connected to the consumption of these products. Consequently, all Diamond Shruumz-brand items have been recalled, and consumers are urged not to purchase them.
