WEST CHESTER, PA — A resident of Chester County has become the latest millionaire in the region after winning the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash. The jackpot-winning ticket for the Friday, September 1 drawing matched all five balls drawn – 3, 15, 18, 33, and 37, leading to a whopping win of $905,050.50, less withholding.
The golden ticket was sold at Wawa, located at 1413 Wilmington Pike, West Chester. As a nod to their role in this lucky event, Wawa will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
While the winner’s identity remains a mystery until the prize is claimed and the ticket validated, the countdown has begun. According to the Pennsylvania Lottery rules, the main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Similarly, any prizes won on any Quick Cash game must be claimed within one year of the purchase date. The holder of the jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket is being advised to contact the nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for further instructions.
This thrilling win was not the only one during the September 1 draw. More than 22,400 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes, reminding players of the importance of checking every ticket, every time. Lower-tier prizes can be claimed at any Lottery retailer.
