United Safety, RECARO Target Commercial Vehicle Seating

United Safety and Survivability Corporation

EXTON, PA — United Safety & Survivability Corporation is partnering with RECARO Automotive to develop, produce and distribute seating for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles across the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, expanding the Exton company’s seating business through a broader international collaboration.

The agreement combines United Safety’s suspension technology with RECARO’s automotive seating capabilities. The companies plan to cooperate on technical development, commercial operations and distribution.

The partnership gives United Safety a larger role in commercial vehicle seating while providing RECARO with a partner for the North American and Oceania markets.
