Teleflex Scores Peripheral Access Purchasing Agreement with Premier, Inc., Expanding Reach of Innovative Vascular Products

WAYNE, PA — Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a global provider of medical technologies, recently announced a new Peripheral Access purchasing agreement with Premier, Inc. This agreement, effective from December 1, 2023, enables Premier members to leverage special pricing and terms for Teleflex’s Peripheral Access products.

Premier has extended Teleflex a national multi-source agreement for Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs), PICC navigation equipment, and Midlines. This agreement is expected to significantly enhance the reach of Teleflex’s innovative vascular access solutions.

Lisa Kudlacz, President and General Manager of Teleflex Vascular, stated that their goal is to deliver vascular access products that benefit both clinicians and patients while minimizing the risk of vascular access-related complications. She expressed satisfaction in continuing to support Premier members with their PICC, Midline, and Navigation products.

Teleflex, through its Arrowâ„¢ Peripheral Access products, offers a range of devices designed to optimize patient outcomes, reduce catheter colonization, and streamline insertion procedures. The company’s product portfolio under the agreement includes Arrowâ„¢ PICCs preloaded with the NaviCurveâ„¢ Stylet, Traditional Arrowâ„¢ PICCs and Midlines, Arrowg+ard Blue Advanceâ„¢ Antimicrobial/Antithrombogenic PICCs, and Midlines among others.

The company’s commitment to reducing vascular-related complications is evident in its pioneering antimicrobial and antithrombogenic PICCs and Midlines. These products, utilizing Arrowg+ard Blue Advanceâ„¢ technology, provide protection against CLABSI-causing pathogens for at least 30 days.

The next-generation VPS Rhythm™ DLX Device, which offers real-time catheter tip location information using the patient’s cardiac electrical activity, is also part of the agreement. This device, combined with the Arrow™ PICC preloaded with the NaviCurve™ Stylet, provides innovative tip navigation/location technologies, eliminating the need for a confirmatory x-ray.
