BERWYN, PA — PPR Capital Management, a private equity real estate investment firm, has announced the promotion of Taylor Nelson to Director of Non-Performing Loan Investments. Nelson’s promotion underscores PPR’s commitment to growing its NPL business model and delivering strategic investment opportunities for its investors and stakeholders.

As the newly minted Director, Nelson will spearhead PPR’s NPL business vertical. His responsibilities will encompass acquisitions, surveillance and performance of the firm’s NPL business line, and joint venture partnerships. Prior to this role, Nelson served as PPR’s Senior Acquisition and Portfolio Analyst since 2020, where he played an instrumental part in the firm’s expansion into the NPL vertical.

Steve Meyer, CEO of PPR Capital Management, lauded Nelson for his significant contributions to the firm’s success in the NPL area. “Taylor has been a driving force behind PPR’s continued growth in the NPL vertical,” said Meyer. “His promotion aligns with our strategy to further expand this business model and deliver strategic investment opportunities to our investors and stakeholders.”

Since 2019, Nelson has proven his acumen by leading PPR’s acquisition of over $800 million worth of NPLs. In addition to his new role, he will continue to support PPR’s Investment Management, Investment Strategy, and Finance teams with modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

Reflecting on his promotion, Nelson expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to maximize PPR’s NPL portfolio. “I’m excited to take ownership of the firm’s NPL vertical, a business model I became deeply familiar with in my previous role,” Nelson said. “I look forward to positioning PPR for viable investment opportunities.”

Nelson’s journey with PPR began in 2017. He is a Penn State University graduate, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology with a concentration in computing and statistics, and a minor in information systems and statistical analysis.

Nelson’s promotion comes at a time when real estate investment firms are increasingly exploring alternative assets like NPLs to diversify their portfolios and mitigate risks. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of the NPL business model, Nelson is well-positioned to lead PPR’s NPL investments, charting a course for continued growth and success.
