WAYNE, PA — Palvella Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PVLA) Chief Executive Officer Wes Kaupinen will address investors Wednesday at the Canaccord Genuity 46th Annual Growth Conference as the clinical-stage biotechnology company advances treatments for rare skin diseases and vascular malformations.
Kaupinen, Palvella’s founder, is scheduled to participate in a fireside chat Aug. 12 at 3:30 p.m. ET, the Wayne-based company reported.
The appearance comes as Palvella advances its lead candidate, QTORIN 3.9% rapamycin anhydrous gel, for microcystic lymphatic malformations, cutaneous venous malformations and clinically significant angiokeratomas. The conditions currently have no U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved therapies, according to the company.
Palvella is also developing QTORIN pitavastatin for disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis.
Both candidates are based on the company’s patented QTORIN platform. Palvella remains a clinical-stage company and has not indicated that either product has received FDA approval.
The Canaccord presentation will be available through a live webcast at www.palvellatx.com in the Events and Presentations section. Palvella plans to make a replay available for approximately 90 days after the event.
