Alongside this acquisition, Scott Jensen has been named as the new CEO. Kosmos Q, established in 2009 by world champion pitmaster Darian ‘Kosmo’ Khosravi, has carved a niche in the competitive barbecue community and expanded into a premium brand beloved by enthusiasts nationwide.
Under the guidance of Kosmo, the company has thrived on innovation and customer engagement, developing products that have transformed the barbecue experience for both competition cooks and home enthusiasts. With a robust online presence, Kosmos Q boasts over 27 million YouTube views and a vast social media following. Its products are available directly to consumers and through major retailers like Wal-Mart and Bass Pro Shops.
Scott Jensen, co-founder of Stubb’s BBQ, brings a wealth of experience from the food and beverage industry to his new role at Kosmos Q. Accompanied by sales leader Terry Meyer, Jensen aims to deepen the brand’s retail footprint and continue its growth trajectory. L2 Capital partner Connor McMahan expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with Khosravi and confidence in Jensen’s leadership to broaden the brand’s reach.
