MALVERN, PA — Here’s your chance to trade in that dusty old Blackberry or outdated gaming console for some tasty barbecue! We all know there’s at least one in every household — that stash of ancient electronic devices sitting somewhere, quietly gathering dust and taking up space. PayMore in Malvern will turn that stash into cash, providing a secure and safe service for customers to sell their new, used, or broken electronics devices as well as shop for gently used devices with warranties.
To celebrate the opening of its Malvern location, PayMore will welcome the community on Friday and Saturday, September 29th & 30th with a complimentary barbecue lunch provided by Chef Keith Taylor, who owned and operated the award-winning Zachary’s BBQ & Soul in Norristown between 2010 and 2021. Simply follow the smell of mouth-watering smoked meats and bring an old electronic device to the new PayMore store located at 215 Lancaster Ave. in Malvern between noon and 3 p.m.
In addition to free lunch for electronics, PayMore will also donate a portion of the weekend’s sales to the Great Valley Middle School, General Wayne Elementary School and Villa Maria Academy’s PTOs.
“We are so excited for the grand opening of PayMore in Malvern,” said franchisee Chris Phillips. “We are grateful to be a part of the community and happy to be supporting our local schools, meeting new customers, and of course, sharing some really great barbecue!”
On the menu for the opening — smoked BBQ brisket and Carolina pulled chicken sandwiches, served with potato salad and Caribbean ginger slaw — all prepared by Zachary’s BBQ Catering, which is operated by Chef Taylor’s wife, Elizabeth. This will be Chef Keith Taylor’s first culinary event since a horrific accident sidelined him in June of 2022.
